Who this policy applies to
This policy describes how Insurance Maximum handles personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing insurance services. It applies to visitors to the site, people who request a quote, and people whose policies we service.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details needed to prepare that quote or answer that question. Depending on the coverage, that can include your name, contact details, address or ZIP code, date of birth, driver’s licence number, vehicle identification numbers, property details, prior insurance history, and claims history.
Information collected automatically. Our web host records standard request data: IP address, browser and device type, referring page, and pages visited. This is used to keep the site working and secure.
Information from third parties. To produce an accurate quote, insurance carriers and their rating services draw on motor vehicle records, claims history databases and, in states where it is permitted, insurance credit scores. These are requested as part of the quoting process.
How we use it

- To help you file a claim and to follow it up with the carrier
- To contact you about your request, by the methods you have consented to
- To meet legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping obligations

Who we share it with
Insurance carriers and their underwriting services, in order to obtain quotes and place coverage. This is the core purpose of providing us with the information, and it cannot be avoided while still producing a quote.
Service providers who operate parts of our business (our web host, our form processor, and our email provider) under agreements limiting their use of the data to providing that service.
Regulators, and where the law requires it, including in response to a valid legal request or an insurance department inquiry.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Communications and consent
If you provide a phone number and agree to be contacted, we may call or text you about the request you submitted, including by automated means where you have consented to that. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or simply tell an agent. Any of these will stop the contact.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising cookies and does not run third-party advertising trackers. Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our forms from automated abuse, sets a token needed to complete a form submission; it is used for that purpose only.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not result in a policy are retained for as long as needed to answer follow-up questions and to meet regulatory recordkeeping requirements. Records relating to placed policies are retained for the period required by applicable insurance regulations, which is generally several years after a policy ends.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to provide a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct information that is inaccurate, delete information we are not required to retain, or stop contacting you. Residents of some states have additional rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what categories of information are collected and to opt out of certain disclosures.

Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send Social Security numbers, driver’s licence numbers, or payment details through the website’s forms. An agent will collect anything genuinely required through a more appropriate channel.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be identified clearly rather than folded in silently.
